Both Nikon and other users have come to do other courses, including portraiture, flash, studio lighting, macro photography, flower photography, product photography, medical photography, food photography, panoramas, wildlife, long lenses and many more.

most clients first come do one of introductory courses  like the hands on a Nikon that mastered the basics of photography, the Camera and introduced other areas and then later training was tailored to exactly meet their needs. those coming to start for a number of days said what they wanted to archive and we tailored the courses to meet their needs.

The other change is that we are no longer gaining access to every new Nikon Camera when it first comes out. Others training providers do not do this but we wanted first hand experience of each camera, but with the depression  and dropping off of training booked coinciding with a range of expensive extra cameras this practice was no longer possible. There are only a small number of changes between models so most of the basic details are exactly the same and as we get to see new cameras we pick up the later knowledge. If we need to reach for an instruction manual, which is very rare, we keep track of the time used on this and add it on to the end of the course. Our initial reaction at being only able to offer the equivalent of what the best of the other did, was to cut all training to new clients, serving only existing ones, but several of you pointed out that this was illogical, for as long as you were aware of the this limitation before you booked, then you could make up your own mind. We have specialised in Nikon training and using Nikon equipment such as the creative lighting flash equipment and editing with Nikon Capture NX2, al of this is of course still available to us. This change in service only effects Nikon users as we always made it clear that we had not handled every make and model of camera.
